Passing of Bud Field

July 2020 – Many of you in Ontario may have known Sinclair (Bud) Field, co-founder and president of Brant Aero. We learned of his passing on June 18 after a long battle with cancer. You can read a full account of his life here.

Bud Field, November 6, 1947–June 18, 2020.

He was known by many pilots in the southwest Ontario area and was thought of as an extremely nice person and president of a well-run company that many speak well of. Brant Aero is a favourite of many for its excellent aircraft servicing operation.

Bud leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Jane, brother Pat, and sister Francie. Our thoughts go out to those he left behind.
