Bits and Pieces Blog
Ian Brown, EAA 657159; Editor, Bits and Pieces; Washago, Ontario
December 2023 – EAA used to host an archive of previously published articles. That was removed a while ago, but in its place you might be interested to know that there is still access to previously published issues and articles that appeared in Bits and Pieces. I don’t know how far back it goes, but when I looked, I found articles as far back as 2017.
The blog is Hangar Flying. You can get to it here at https://inspire.eaa.org.
You don’t need to subscribe, have a password, or log in.
You can search using keywords like the author’s name or something that appeared in the title.
Here’s the tag page for Bits and Pieces - https://inspire.eaa.org/tag/bits-and-pieces/
By clicking on the three horizontal lines at the top right (some people call this the hamburger!), you can search for anything you like. Try this. Think of an author’s name and if it’s unusual, that’s all you need, but if it’s likely to have appeared in other EAA publications, you could search for “Bits and Pieces Wyman” for example.
Thanks to Carrie Field, EAA email marketing specialist, for this very useful information.
