Pelton Receives Award of Honor in Europe

April 26, 2018 - While EAA CEO & Chairman of the Board Jack J. Pelton was representing EAA at the AERO Friedrichshafen expo in Germany last week, he was surprised with a special award from Fliegermagazin, one of Europe’s largest general aviation publications.

Pelton received the award for “outstanding contributions to aviation,” which include his career at Cessna, Dornier, and Douglas Aircraft prior to becoming EAA chairman in 2012 and adding full-time CEO responsibilities in 2015.

Dan Schwinn, president and CEO of Avidyne and a member of EAA’s board of directors, introduced Pelton during the Fliegermagazin award ceremony, which honored the “best in the business” for general aviation.
