Interact with FAA and NTSB Officials at AirVenture 2018

July 19, 2018 - EAA members will have the opportunity to interact with officials from the FAA and NTSB during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2018.

Acting FAA Administrator Dan Elwell will speak at the Meet the FAA Administrator forum on Thursday, July 26, from 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. at Theater in the Woods. His presentation will cover various current aviation topics and policies affecting general aviation, and he will also answer audience questions.

The NTSB will be hosting a GA Safety Road Show on strategies for preventing in-flight loss of control (LOC) on Tuesday, July 24, from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m at Forum Stage 6. The lineup for the forum will include an introduction by NTSB Chairman Robert Sumwalt, a keynote speech by aerobatic air show performer Patty Wagstaff, a panel discussion on in-flight LOC prevention strategies with NTSB, FAA, and industry representatives, and specific case studies related to LOC accidents. The session will include three separate segments, followed by three case studies, so attendees can attend one segment or all. Each presentation will be followed by a 10-mintue Q&A period.
