Cirrus Announces Certification of Vision Jet

November 3, 2016 - Cirrus announced on October 31 that its new Vision Jet, the industry’s first certified single engine personal jet, received FAA certification, allowing the company to begin fulfilling initial customer deliveries.

“Just as the SR series of high-performance piston aircraft has forever changed aviation, the impact of the Vision Jet on personal and regional transportation is going to be even more profound,” said Cirrus Aircraft co-founder and CEO Dale Klapmeier. “Never before has a turbine aircraft solution come along that rewrites the rules in so many ways – iconic design, ease of operation, smart economics, simplified ownership, and more."

Cirrus currently reports almost 600 production positions reserved for the Vision Jet. The Vision Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, will be the flagship location for jet sales, delivery, training, maintenance, support, personalization, and more.
