Lightspeed Increases Support of EAA Young Eagles

March 13, 2014 - EAA will again hold quarterly drawings for Lightspeed Zulu headsets for active Young Eagles pilots and adds a second quarterly drawing for pilots who fly 10 or more young people.

To enter, simply fly at least one Young Eagle and submit the Young Eagles registration form (must be postmarked by the end of the quarter in which the flight occurs). Young Eagles pilots are encouraged to send in their Young Eagles registration forms as soon after the flight as possible.

Drawings for 2014 will be held for quarters ending March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31. "Lightspeed Aviation graciously provides these headsets to support our program," said Brian O'Lena, manager of Young Eagles and Youth Pathways. "Lightspeed is a valuable partner of the Young Eagles program. We're grateful for their support and that we can provide a chance to win such a quality headset to our pilots."

A second quarterly drawing has been added this year for pilots who reach the "10 flights for 2014" mark. For years EAA has asked each pilot to set the personal goal of flying as at least 10 Young Eagle flights per year, and this year reaching that milestone gets a pilot an automatic entry into this additional drawing - also held for quarters ending March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31.
