In 2016, EAA received a groundbreaking STC allowing the certification of the Dynon EFIS D10A and D100 in many general aviation aircraft. This STC helped unlock new pathways for affordable avionics in light GA aircraft that have been used by many manufacturers in the years since.
Building upon that success, EAA worked with TruTrak Flight Systems to certify their Vizion autopilot in select GA aircraft, receiving the STC in 2017. This STC approval further defined a streamlined design and production approval process.
EAA STC, LLC has since transferred both STCs to their respective manufacturers. As such, EAA no longer provides administration or technical support for these approvals. Please contact Dynon Avionics or Honeywell Aerospace (current holders of the former TruTrak approval) for continued support.
