Volunteer Park Award Recipients

June 2015 - In 2013, a new Volunteer Park was created as a place for volunteers to gather outside of the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh grounds. Also created was the Volunteer Park Award, an opportunity to recognize all volunteers who contribute their time and talents to EAA at headquarters, chapters, AirVenture, and other areas in which they have helped support EAA. The nominations for the award come from fellow volunteers who have seen firsthand others’ hard work and dedication. The Volunteer Advisory Committee takes on the difficult task each year of evaluating nominations and selects the recipients for the year.
This year, EAA is proud to present the Volunteer Park Awards to:

- Dr. M.C. Buck Wagnon
- Jackie & Cody Welch
We invite all staff, friends, family, and fellow volunteers to come celebrate these generous and talented volunteers. Join us in the celebration on Sunday, July 19, at 3 p.m. at Volunteer Park.
