After completing the first three volumes of the Sporty’s Learn to Fly Course, you’ll qualify for a free first flight lesson at a flight school of your choice ($160 value).

How do I qualify?
To be eligible for the free flight lesson, you must have taken a Young Eagles® flight, completed the first three volumes of the Sporty’s course, and be at least 13 years of age.

OK, so I qualify, now what?
Sporty’s will contact EAA once you complete the first three volumes, and EAA will mail you a waiver to be signed by your parents. Your waiver may take 7-10 days to arrive in the mail once you complete the three volumes. Please do not call Sporty’s; EAA will automatically send you the form. After receiving the waiver, please have your parent/guardian sign and send it back to EAA. Once the completed waiver is received by EAA your free flight lesson voucher will be emailed with instructions on how to redeem it.

Is there an age requirement for my flight lesson?
Yes, you must be between the ages of 13 and 19.

Can I give my voucher certificate to someone else?
No. The voucher is only valid for the Young Eagle listed on the voucher certificate.

You are encouraged to sign up for more flight lessons and work toward earning a pilot certificate!
