If you are 70½ or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) of up to $111,000 each year directly from your IRA to a charity such as EAA Aviation Foundation, Inc. The amount transferred is not taxed as income and may satisfy all or part of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).

The Gathering
The Gathering is the EAA Aviation Foundation's annual fundraising gala, held Thursday evening during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. The semi-formal event brings together aviation enthusiasts and philanthropists for a cocktail hour, plated dinner, entertainment, and silent and live auctions, all in support of EAA's education, advocacy, and outreach programs.
