Phillips 66 Aviation Helps EAA Young Eagles Pilots Soar

August 2015 - Phillips 66 Aviation has proudly sponsored EAA and the Young Eagles program for the past 20-plus years. Pilots who volunteer their time and aircraft can take advantage of a $1/gallon rebate when they use the Phillips 66 Aviation personal credit card to fill up their aircraft for their Young Eagles flights at a Phillips 66 branded FBO.

Phillips 66 Aviation supports EAA and the more than 1.9 million future pilots who’ve flown with the program. A special recognition goes out to Fred Stadler, who was named Phillips 66 Aviation’s 2015 Leadership Award winner, an annual honor given to an EAA Young Eagles volunteer who has gone above and beyond in contributing to the program. Fred reached an unprecedented milestone in July when he flew his 6,000th Young Eagle, setting the record for the most volunteer flights by any pilot participant in the program.

“At Phillips 66, we appreciate the dedicated pilots who volunteer their time and aircraft to support the future of general aviation,” the company stated in a press release. If you’re a Young Eagles volunteer pilot and want to learn more about how you can earn a $1/gallon discount with the Phillips 66 Aviation personal credit card at Phillips 66 branded FBOs, visit www.phillips66aviation.com/youngeagles.

In addition to the $1/gallon discount, when you open and use a Phillips 66 Aviation personal credit card, you can earn 10 cents per gallon for the first 90 days when you purchase 45 gallons or more per month. You’ll receive savings as a fuel-statement credit for your first gallon up to 110 gallons every qualifying month. After the first 90 days, you can earn 5 cents per gallon.
