Chapter Members Can Compete to Win $25,000
October 2015 - EAA’s Founder’s Innovation Prize 2016 will reward the best ideas brought forward during next summer’s convention that help prevent aircraft loss of control. Typical loss-of-control scenarios for example, are stall/spins on final approach or departure.
Cash prizes will be awarded at AirVenture 2016 with the overall winner receiving $25,000, $10,000 going to second place, and $5,000 going to third place.
Do you or a fellow chapter member have a great idea to reduce loss of control and enhance safety? We are now taking applications. This is your opportunity get your or your team’s idea out and impress an all-star panel of judges.
Initial applications will be accepted through June 1, 2016, with full-package submissions due July 1, 2016.
Five finalists (or teams) will be chosen to pitch their ideas in front of judges Burt Rutan, Dick VanGrunsven, Charlie Precourt, Rod Machado, and Dave Morss at AirVenture 2016.
