EAA B-25 Restoration Work Parties
New weekend work parties for chapters available in April and June.
March 2017 - EAA chapters have a new volunteer opportunity available to them, as EAA is in the process of restoring its B-25 to flight status. Chapter 237, based at Anoka County-Blaine Airport in Minnesota, is spearheading the effort and has decided to open up the work parties to other EAA chapters! If some of your chapter members would like to join in on a weekend work party, simply fill out the registration form here!
Our B-25 was used in the filming of the movie Catch-22, and we will be re-creating the paint scheme Berlin Express used in the movie.
We are limited to 15 volunteers, and no experience is necessary. EAA will provide housing and meals. We just ask that you be willing to work on both days (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday).
This rare opportunity to help restore a B-25 is only available to EAA chapters, but don't delay! The spots for our May and June sessions are filling up quickly, so be sure to register today! We will provide confirmation via e-mail after processing your application.
