A Low Dolly, Yes a Low Dolly

By Lloyd Richards, Canadian Council, EAA Chapter 1126, Timmins, Ontario

October 2016 - There is nothing more frustrating, and sometimes embarrassing, than a flat tire in the middle of the runway. Chapter 1126 member Gilles Leblanc has had that experience and decided to solve the problem. He has built a beautiful dolly.

The dolly is equipped with a strap to put over the tire for security. It’s robust, simply made, and takes nothing more than a quick trip to the hardware store for the swivelling wheels, plus an old bed frame, and some welding skills. Many thanks to Gilles for sharing this with us.
