What a Great Canadian Presence!

Well, wasn’t that a great show? Getting back on with our lives after AirVenture can seem like a downer, but what a great presence for our Canadian members. Sadly, perhaps for political reasons, neither Transport Canada nor COPA was there; however, there WERE plenty of Canadians, and our booth was constantly busy. Our Canadian Breakfast was packed, as usual, and we were pleased to host the Northern Stars Aeroteam as our featured speakers at the event. As usual, there was a big yet well-behaved line for the traditional Ice Cream Social on Thursday afternoon.

There were, of course, some who decided not to attend because of the political situation, and your friends almost certainly missed you. If it’s any consolation, there was no unhappiness that I noticed.

We all seemed to manage to focus on aviation in all its forms. A good time was had by all.
