It’s Spring!

It’s spring in Canada and hopefully end-of-the-season snowstorms are over with. I’m looking forward to clear blue skies, minimal winds, and no smoke this summer.

We’re around three months from AirVenture, and Phil is working away on organizing our Canadian camping area. If you would like to camp with fellow Canadians at AirVenture, please register with Phil. He has it down to a science —organizing the motorhomes, campers, and tents — so we all fit together.

We are working on the presentation schedule in our Canadian Pavilion for AirVenture, so if you will be there and have a topic, please email me at chair.eaacc@gmail.com. We would love to see your presentation on cross-country adventures, homebuilt projects, and any other aviation-related topics.

We plan to kick off the week with our complimentary Canadian BBQ on Sunday, July 19, and will host our ice cream social on Thursday. We are working on confirming the day that our Canadian breakfast will be, as it is dependent on the schedule of our featured guests.

More AirVenture details to come next month. I look forward to hearing from you!
