Lightspeed Headset Winners Announced

April 10, 2014 - William "RO" Carter, EAA 352946, of Longwood, Florida, and Randy Epstein, EAA 833410, of Hoschton, Georgia, are the first quarter drawing winners of Lightspeed Zulu headsets provided for eligible Young Eagles pilots by Lightspeed Aviation. Both Carter and Epstein were automatically entered by returning Young Eagles flight registration forms for flights completed in the first quarter 2014.

Carter, who has flown 129 Young Eagles since 2002, was entered in the first quarter drawing by flying at least one Young Eagle in the first quarter of 2014 and submitting the Young Eagles registration form. Epstein has a total of 133 Young Eagles flights since 2011 and was selected in our special second Lightspeed drawing for pilots who reach at least 10 flights for 2014.

To become eligible to win a headset, simply fly at least one Young Eagle during a quarter and submit the Young Eagles registration form (must be postmarked by the end of the quarter in which the flight occurs). Young Eagles pilots are encouraged to send in their Young Eagles registration forms as soon after the flight as possible.

Drawings for the rest of 2014 will be held for quarters ending June 30, September 30, and December 31.

"Lightspeed Aviation is a valuable partner of the Young Eagles program and understands our mission," said Brian O'Lena, manager of Young Eagles and Youth Pathways. "We're extremely grateful for their support in providing a chance for our pilots to win one of these quality headsets."
