AirVenture Runway 5K
EAA AirVenture Runway 5K | July 30, 2022
Experience what becomes the world's busiest airport from a unique perspective. Whether this is your first or 17th Runway 5K, this charity fun run/walk is a great way to kick-start your day! This year, the Runway 5K will be held on Saturday, July 30, during AirVenture Oshkosh 2022. The race kicks off at 7 a.m. at the Ultralight Barn and we encourage everyone, including walkers, first-time runners, and seasoned athletes, to participate.
The course takes you through a tour of the AirVenture campus. You’ll have to chance to catch the early-morning sun rising above evergreen trees and open fields, run or walk through unique and incredible aircraft, and be cheered on by the EAA AirVenture community.
We invite you to stay the entirety of the day and explore everything that AirVenture has to offer. Shower facilities are available on our grounds. Gear Check closes at 9:30 a.m. If anything at Gear Check is left behind after that time, the items will be given to the main Lost & Found, which is located behind the Lifetime Member Oasis.
Registration includes an official event T-shirt, post-race food and refreshments, and admission to AirVenture on race day.
Proceeds from this year’s run will benefit the EAA Aviation Foundation Women Soar Society and its efforts to support opportunities in aviation for women of all ages.
