Attention, All Veterans!
June 27, 2019 - Join us Friday, July 26, at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh as we celebrate the men and women who fought for our freedom.
Continuing the tradition of the day, we will begin with the annual EAA Veterans Breakfast to kick off the daylong Salute to Veterans festivities. This will begin at 8 a.m. at the Partner Resource Center located on Waukau Avenue just west of the intersection at Knapp Street Road. Reservations are required as space is limited. The event is all thanks to our sponsors, American Airlines, GE Aviation, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
The 1 p.m. Warbirds in Review program will be dedicated to all veterans in attendance. Be sure to be seated in the Warbirds in Review bleachers early, as space is limited.
At 1:30 p.m., all veterans attending AirVenture are invited to assemble with their respective branches of service and join in the Parade of Veterans. Those who don't wish to march are encouraged to partake in the Welcome Ceremony at 2 p.m. on Boeing Plaza.
In the evening, join in the welcome home ceremony for Old Glory Honor Flight's Yellow Ribbon Honor Flight VII at 6:30 p.m. as we give our heroes the warm welcome back they deserve.
Lastly, all week from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. veterans can visit the Warbirds area to claim a free Salute to Veterans cap sponsored by Fred Telling, Ed Finnegan, and U.S. Venture.
