Discovery Park is the next evolution of youth aviation outreach at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, created to bring youth programming to a larger, modern, and more accessible home on the main air show grounds.
As KidVenture continued to grow at its original location at Pioneer Airport, families often found themselves choosing between the air show and youth activities, so EAA has envisioned a more integrated and well-rounded experience. The result is Discovery Park, an expanded, full-fledged aviation hub that will include an enhanced KidVenture, all new TeenVenture programming for ages 13-17, hands on STEM activities, youth forums, aviation themed play experiences, and so much more.
Opening at AirVenture 2027, Discovery Park will combine interactive learning, exploration, and family convenience in one central destination. Features such as the Pedal Plane Airport, Aviation Playground, youth retail store, and on site food court create a welcoming space where young people can discover aviation in a fun and meaningful way. With a significantly larger footprint and a focus on accessibility and safety, Discovery Park ensures families can enjoy world class youth programming in heart of the aviation world.
