Find Your Next Career With EAA’s Job Fair

By Katie Holliday-Greenley, EAA Copy Editor

July 22, 2018 - In addition to the thousands of people, airplanes, and presentations at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2018, attendees can also find a new career path through the EAA Job Fair. The weeklong job fair, presented by the Greater Oshkosh Economic Development Corporation, allows candidates to meet with participating exhibitors throughout the AirVenture grounds.

This year, 38 companies are participating in the job fair including several airlines, schools like Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, aircraft manufacturers like Cirrus Aircraft, and aeronautics companies like Jeppesen. Several branches of the U.S. military will also be participating along with some nonaviation organizations.

A full list of participating companies can be found under the Job Fair tab in the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh mobile app, and they are also highlighted in the exhibitor index of The Official Visitor & Camper’s Guide.

Most exhibitors will have a table in their booths full of information on the types of jobs they’re currently hiring for and general information on the company, but some will also be conducting interviews during the convention. So, you could leave EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2018 one step closer to landing your dream job.

For those who are unable to attend AirVenture this year but are still interested in finding a new career in the aviation industry, go to www.EAA.org/jobfair to connect with participating companies online year-round. The EAA Job Fair is supported by comprehensive online aviation career center JSfirm.com.
