Start a New Family Tradition in Oshkosh

July 21, 2021 – With support from The Boeing Company, this year's AirVenture will inspire the vast amount of young people in attendance and introduce them to what's possible in aviation. Make your family's week even more memorable by engaging in the variety of youth activities around the grounds during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2021!

Activities at The Boeing Company Pavilion
Boeing is proud to partner with EAA to support this year’s free youth admission at AirVenture. Stop by the Boeing Pavilion each day at 1 p.m. for activities and prizes for kids of all ages. Activities include rocket launch kits, career forums, temporary tattoos, 787 cockpit demonstrations, and more!

Get Involved With AeroEducate
Stop by the EAA Member Center, KidVenture, Blue Barn, or the museum to learn about our newest youth outreach program, AeroEducate. AeroEducate will bring an interactive, educational, and engaging experience to youth ages 5 to 18. Attend the press conference announcement on Monday, July 26, at 11 a.m. at Boeing Plaza or an introductory presentation from 1 – 2:30 p.m. at the EAA Aviation Museum's SpaceShip One/Voyager exhibit.

KidVenture
Located at Pioneer Airport across from the EAA Aviation Museum, aspiring aviators can check out hands-on activities, a simulated B-25 flight experience, life-size replicas of the Mercury 7 and Gemini 7 space capsules, and learn how to fly a radio-controlled airplane at KidVenture. The area is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Meet Aviore
Marvel Comics creator Stan Lee and EAA CEO and Chairman Jack J. Pelton introduced a new superhero named Aviore a few years ago. Jake Peregrine Howard, Perry to his friends, dedicates his life to using the power of flight to help those in need and encouraging kids to follow their passions. Autograph signings start at 1 p.m. in the Boeing Pavilion, Monday to Saturday.

RC Flying Field
If you're eager to see the fun of RC model aircraft flight, visit the RC Flying Field, sponsored by Horizon Hobby! Located on the south half of the Pioneer Airport runway, AirVenture attendees can operate a small RC model (5 pounds or less) from 7 – 9:30 p.m. You must be a registered Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) member to participate in flying your own model aircraft. AMA will be on-site registering attendees and coordinating operations.

Twilight Flight Fest
Twilight Flight Fest, sponsored by Horizon Hobby, takes place at the Fun Fly Zone on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 8 p.m. This will be an opportunity to witness the incredible short takeoff and landing demonstrations, the Patriot Parachute Team, Red Bull Air Force skydivers, and 3D RC demonstrations including light, laser, and smoke effects. The kids will love the bright lights overhead!

EAA Aviation Museum Activities
With a variety of interactive exhibits, our KidVenture Gallery in the museum is sure to keep the little ones busy! After sitting in the cockpit of the half-size scale replica of the F-22 Raptor, they can get an awesome view of the AirVenture grounds and aerial activities at Pioneer Airport. Alphabet scavenger hunts are also available at the museum gift shop.
