Taking the Ninth Annual WomenVenture Photo

July 27, 2016 - The ninth annual WomenVenture group photo capped off the premier day for WomenVenture activities yesterday. Sherry Carbary, vice president of Boeing Flight Services, and Jackie Nesselroad, Boeing director of production operations were the guest speakers at the WomenVenture Connect Breakfast.

Then came the WomenVenture Power Lunch, where keynote speakers included Lt. Cmdr. Meagan Flannigan and Vanessa Christie, a U.S. Navy combat veteran.

WomenVenture events will continue throughout the week, including a panel discussion with some of the original Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP), the first women trained to fly American military aircraft, in the Skyscape Theater at 11:30 a.m. and a Warbirds in Review with WASP Florence Shutsy-Reynolds in Warbird Alley at 1 p.m. (See related story page 12).
