AviationTech Brings Model Building for Youths to AirVenture

On Tuesday, July 26, and Thursday, July 28, youths ages 14-18 are invited to make their modern-day jet fighter model aircraft at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh! Between 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on each of those days, participants will learn about the science involved in engineering an aircraft as well as design and build the model in the Youth Education Center’s new science labs, adjacent to the EAA Aviation Museum.

Throughout the activity, pilots and engineers will be available to answer questions and share experiences from their careers in aviation. After the jet fighter model is complete, participants will be taken to Boeing Plaza to see the F-35 Lightning II aircraft in person and meet the pilots!
