Baby Ace was the first truly marketed homebuilt in the late 1920s. Paul Poberezny, EAA's late founder, built one in 1955 for Mechanix Illustrated magazine, which launched EAA to national prominence. This airplane is the newly built replica that Paul started, and chapter 640 in Wausau finished after his passing.
