Avidyne Partners With L3 for Rebate Deal

July 23, 2018 - Avidyne Avionics announced on Monday in the first press conference of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2018 that the company is partnering with L3 Commercial Aviation to offer a cash rebate to those who buy both an Avidyne IFD550 and an L3 Lynx NGT-9000.

Avidyne President Dan Schwinn, EAA 360170, said Avidyne has always worked well with other companies and this collaboration with L3 is another example of that. Customers who purchase both products are eligible for a $2,500 cash back rebate.

Schwinn said the offer would be good starting Monday, and would run for two months, although it may be extended or expanded depending on how successful the promotion was.

L3 announced a new software upgrade that will be available in August for Lynx NGT-9000 operators that provides performance, start-up, and compatibility enhancements for the ADS-B transponder and display system.
