UAS4STEM returns for its fourth year at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2024. Students aged 11 to graduating high school seniors from across the country compete throughout the year for a chance to partake in their championship at AirVenture. The Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) sanctions the event.
Teams design, build, and fly uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) and compete virtually to be selected for the championship at AirVenture. Sixteen teams have competed so far this year, and 10 have been invited to compete at AirVenture 2024.
The competition will take place near the southwest corner of Camp Scholler at the beginning of the week. The competition consists of two classes, beginner and advanced, based on age and skill level.
First, second, and third place teams will receive Skydio equipment and scholarship money from the AMA. That applies to both divisions with scholarships awards being in excess of $2,000.
