One of the most popular ways to experience EAA AirVenture Oshkosh is to camp, whether it’s drive-in camping in Camp Scholler or setting up your tent under the wing of your own airplane.

You’re located right on the AirVenture grounds and a part of the unique community of aviation enthusiasts.

Pre-Opening Day
Thursday, June 25

Hours of Operation:

Gates to open at 7 a.m. — All individuals with camping units wishing to stay overnight on the ramp until 7 a.m. on opening day, Friday, June 26, will be directed by EAA staff to a designated area to be staged.

• Camper Registration
  • Thursday, June 25, 7 a.m.-8 p.m. — Staffed by EAA staff to hand out numbers that will determine the line order on opening day.
  • Thursday, June 25, at 8 p.m.-Friday, June 26, at 7 a.m. — Staffed by security.

Line Management Rules:
To maintain fairness and prevent early line-holding:

• Chairs, placeholders, or unattended items may not be used to hold a spot in line before pre-opening day or on opening day.
• Individuals must be physically present to receive a number.
• Only one number is issued per person, and numbers cannot be transferred or shared.
• No parking on Poberezny Road or at the Camp Scholler entrance prior to 7 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

Camper Registration Hours  

Friday 06/26: 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday 06/27 - Sunday 07/12: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Monday 07/13 - Saturday 07/25: 6 a.m. - 11 p.m.
Sunday 07/26: 6 a.m. - 12 p.m.

A three-day minimum is required and at least one person in your party must be an EAA member.
