The world’s best aerobatic pilots make it a priority to be at Oshkosh each year. Located at the heart of the convention grounds, the Aerobatics area is home to the International Aerobatics Club and a vast array of aerobatic aircraft.
IAC’s core purpose is to promote and enhance the safety and enjoyment of sport aerobatics. The organization welcomes competitors and enthusiasts alike and holds sanctioning rights for all aerobatic contests held in the United States.
IAC volunteers will be glad to give you a tour of its neighborhood and answer questions along the way.
IAC will be celebrating the 45th anniversary of the first test flight of the One Design DR-107. Aircraft designer, Dan Rihn will speak at the IAC Pavilion Forums. Other forum speakers include, Budd Davisson, whose topic will be Vintage Homebuilt Biplanes: Aerobatics on the Cheap or a Financial Black Hole?
Forums will be ongoing from Tuesday through Saturday (July 24-28) and will delve into all aspects of aerobatics. Check out the Vicki Cruse Pavilion information to see all the forums that are scheduled.
